the way I see it

The pity party has ended after a successful two day run. Mind you, it wasn't a full-time party, my occupation calls for constant interruptions - people wanting to be fed, driven places, read to... But alas, it's over and I'm in a much more favorable frame of mind. I am nothing if not resilient!

So, as I am able to move on and be more productive with my thoughts and actions I have been analyzing this whole "investigation" situation. And here is what I've come up with:

-this hold-up will only serve to create a larger population of children in the orphanges...never a good thing, no matter how "nice" the orphanage.

-the ET government will realize a big back-log of cases that need to run through the courts and the immigration process when they do re-open the system. yow.

-the ET goverment is not creating a good image for itself amongst prospective adoptive parents. now whether or not the gov't . cares, i don't know. perhaps they think this tweaking of the adoptive process/system will be better in the long run? could be. again, i don't know. but i DO know how it appears to parents.

-and last, but certainly NOT LEAST, the babies are suffering for it! forget me and my selfish desire to have an infant that i can bond with and love on as long as possible! those children would be SO much better off in a loving home with families that can properly meet their needs. this has to be apparent to all involved.

I have got to believe that there are people with brains, people that care working on this issue! Oh and where are the mountain movers? We could use them, as well. I BELIEVE that this will be seen as I see it and we will hold our babies soon!

I'm praying this will be over soon. I can say that God has been using this time to work some things out in me. That's always a good thing, even though it's tough right now as we wait.
