leaving on a good note

no, NOT for ethiopia...yet. we're off on our much-needed vacation. should be gone for about two weeks. and, i want to leave with a positive post!

we're so blessed for so many reasons. and, despite my recent rants and raves, these blessings are always at the forefront of my mind. i have a wonderful patient husband who works hard to make his family happy, we have three gorgeous and healthy children, we have so many loving friends, we make our home in a beautiful, safe area, we are able to experience so many wonderful things...the list is endless! and for that, i am eternally thankful.

and these reasons are why we adopt - we are so eager to share our blessings with other children. as we leave town we will pray that we receive GOOD news while we're away. either that we "passed court" last friday or that we were fortunate enough to get another court date before the courts close in august. we're so eagerly anticipating our next vacation - when baby D will FINALLY be a part of our family, forever!
